A 40-foot school bus we built, a YouTube channel that grew up around it, and the road trips that filled it with stories. Now we're pointing the whole thing at a new problem.
A 2001 Bluebird All-American. Bought in 2023, gutted, and rebuilt on YouTube — solar, plumbing, electrical, framing, carpentry, the whole list. Three years later it's a full house on wheels.
17,000 subscribers came along for the build. The road trips that followed filled it with stories — and what comes next is pointing all of that at people who need it.
Building the bus, living in it, driving it across the country. The community didn't show up overnight — neither did we. Instagram → YouTube → TikTok →
Five states by bus, plus a handful of documented road trips by car.
The bus was built for the road. Right now, it's needed at home.
Salt Lake's new ICE detention facility releases people onto the street late at night — no phone, no ride, no money, sometimes hours from where they need to be. The bus is already a kitchen, beds, internet, heat, charging, and a way to drive someone somewhere safe. Pointing it at this is the obvious move.
Documented, peaceful, and accountable. We're a mutual aid project — not a protest group. Cameras run while we work, every interaction is recorded, and our role is to provide infrastructure to people in crisis.
Whatever you can spare moves this forward. Even $20 or $100 from one person helps — most of what's left is materials, fuel, and basic supplies. If a brand wants to underwrite a bigger piece, that's covered below.
Two redundant connections — so we always have signal for documentation, surveillance uploads, comms during natural disasters, and the people we're trying to help.

The build is documented across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Real products in real conditions: off-grid, on the road, in winter, in heat, in the work itself.
The channel is also shifting toward what I call the connection arc: stranger conversations, road moments, food shared with people who needed it. Sponsors who want to be part of that story have a real opening here. If you make something we'd actually use, there's a strong chance we can make a video your team will be proud of.
